6299 Framework
The 6299 Framework is a cross platform development framework for PHP developers. It allows you to create client-side PHP applications that use the browser as their GUI. In essence, you can write PHP applications in the way you write them on the web, using HTML to generate your interface.
The framework is a stripped down install of Apache 2.0 and PHP 4.3. I've compressed these down to the essential parts, including most of the default modules. Apache is configured to run on port 6299, so this framework can be installed on a system that is already running another version of PHP and Apache without any conflicts.
This framework is new on June 26th, 2007. I have not created the Linux or Mac distributions yet, but both should be fairly easy to build. Mainly I need to write an installer for those systems. Unfortinuately, I don't currently have access to a system running Mac OS X.
Works in Microsoft Windows (NT, 2000, or XP), Linux*, and Mac*.
