Recording Stats on Amazon

I've published a few books on Amazon and I was looking around and found that you can use HTML in your description.

I also found that you could embed an image into your description by including an img tag. StatCounter.com runs a free service where they will do tracking for you. They can do tracking with Javascript (for your own web pages) or with an image. That's great because Amazon probably won't allow Javascript, but you could track you books by embedding an invisible image into the description.
