Guitar Lessons

I've started to learn the guitar and these are my lesson notes.

I bought my guitar in early 2012 and followed some YouTube lessons to learn the basics. I've also read quite a bit about the theory, but I have no music background.

After a few months I put it away for a while. In May of 2013 I stumbled upon the online live video lessons offered by ZOEN. I sent email to a few teachers and quickly got a response from Ginzo Katz. I signed up a couple weeks later. These are my lesson notes.

Taking Guitar Lesson Notes
I'm finding out that it's important to take good notes during your guitar lessons. Here are my suggestions for taking those notes.

June 4th, 2013
The twelve bar blues progression, the A7 chord, and the G Minor Pentatonic Scale.

June 11th, 2013
Improvising in E and A using the Pentatonic scale.

June 18th, 2013
Taking a riff through the progression, new notes to expand the pentatonic scale, bar chord practice, a simple strum pattern, 12 bar in E, backing track.
