Save File Bookmarklet
This is an idea for a product I might build. Any feedback is appreciated.
A web service that will save any embeddable file as a bookmarklet with the file embedded in it. Great for “saving” files onto the iphone.

File Support
The tool might work with MP3 music, MP4 video, standard image formats, PDF documents, and any other document directly supported by the iPhone.
Service
The tool would use a web “service” to do the translation of the file to a data URL and then display a link to that data URL. An API could also be built allowing people to convert their own files for other purposes.
